Domestic workers will re-enact being suffragettes outside parliament on Sunday (8 March)

March 6, 2015

Following the sucesfull action of Flowers hand-out to Peers, MPs, Cross Benches and supporters for the protection of domestic workers in Modern Slavery Bill. We are now staging a very important historic Suffragettes' appearance, who fought for women's right to vote.

What modern slavery of migrant domestic workers and the events of a century ago have in common?

Marissa Begonia, Justice 4 Domestic Workers Coordinator explains: “Domestic workers, struggling for justice, decent pay and conditions, and equality are continuing the fight that the suffragettes made so eloquently 100 years ago. Their campaign still has real relevance today.”

Join us, end modern slavery of domestic workers in the UK!
