Future Voices 2022

Migrant Domestic Workers are the backbone of our society, but we know that their voices and stories often go unheard. This has been magnified during the covid pandemic. We need to be part of the conversations that affect us and have a seat around the table to influence change. Our new training programme in partnership with charity Sounddelivery Media aims to equip a new network of 12 Migrant Domestic Workers with the skills and confidence to share their experiences, have their expertise heard more widely, and ultimately drive public awareness and policy change. Over the next 6 months, they will take part in practical workshops in blogging, vlogging, campaigning skills, interview preparation, presentation skills, media training, they will meet a wide network of journalists and be part of peer support network.

This 2022, they are taking part in 6 months of practical workshops in blogging, vlogging, campaigning skills, interview preparation, presentation skills, and media training. They are meeting a wide network of journalists and are part of a peer support network.
