ELYN JEAN PEREZ.png
" I rise with courage, work with dignity and never lose hope.."

Biography

My name is Elyn Jean, and I am 45 years old. I come from Sitio San Juan, Sonedco, Barangay Camugao, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental, Philippines.

I grew up in a poor family with one brother, where I learned the importance of hard work, faith, and perseverance. I am married and have three sons, who are my greatest inspiration and motivation in life.

I am a high school graduate, and I chose to work abroad to provide a better future for my family. I am currently working as a carer in the United Kingdom.

My work has taught me the importance of patience, compassion, and treating others with dignity and respect. Despite the challenges of homesickness and being far away from my loved ones, I continue to work hard with hope and determination.

My journey is a story of sacrifice, resilience, and love for my family. I am proud of how far I have come and remain hopeful for a brighter future for myself and my loved ones.

I am joining Future Voices Revolution 2 to develop my confidence, learn new skills, meet inspiring people and use my voice to make a positive difference in my VODW community.

I work not because life is easy, but because the people I love are worth every sacrifice. Their dreams give me strength, and their happiness is my greatest reward.

I choose to keep learning, growing, and becoming stronger through everything life brings. I choose courage to speak up, stand for myself, and use my experiences to help others who may be going through difficult times. I believe that no matter where we come from, we all deserve a chance to hope, grow, and build a better life.
